Jez's Knob is a light, high quality polyurathane device, designed to help protect the nose of a board from damage due to catapults or other losses of control out on the water. It sits tucked close to the mast-foot, working in various ways to help prevent contact between the nose & the rig.

The unique shape of Jez's Knob, the material from which it's constructed, allow it to absorb, cushion and deform in order to dissipate the energy that may otherwise demolish the nose of your pride and joy.

It forces the rig and nose away from one another, and, in the event of a nuking straight down catapult, it can lose energy by forcing the nose in the water.

As soon as we produced Jez's Knob the trend in board noses went wider, so we had to go back & re-model it in order to give a wider angle of coverage.
