2ND WIND SAILBOARDS is running windsurfing clinics in the fabulous group of islands known as the Cocos-Keeling Island, in the Indian Ocean(closer to Indonesia than Australia). The Cocos is a horse-shoe shaped coral atoll comprising of a chain of five islands encircling a lagoon, which rarely is deeper than shoulder height (for me!). It is truly a desert island, with luxuries and... WIND!!!

The wind averages around 19knots during the period that we visit & the temperature hangs around 27/29 degrees... Unbearable eh?

Instruction is run on an "as needed, as wanted" basis, as the conditions are absolutely ideal for coaching, whether beginners or advanced. Included in the price is; Travel with National Jet (arranged through licensed agent), accomodation in the newest Bali style bungaloes on the island, evening meals, transport around the island (not far), sun, sand, wind and of course windsurfer hire or freighting of your own favourite equipment, if possible (space on the plane is extremely limited).

There are fantastic snorkeling locations as well as canoeing, fishing, surfing (experience required) & plenty of coconut trees to hang a hammock from.
